Purpose of the role  

The ideal candidate for this role will be working on South Africa’s largest home shopping retail brand and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely flow and execution of all materials and campaigns to our customers

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)Material management

  • To manage the briefing process, ensuring there is a clear understanding of the requirements, that accurate information is provided on the brief; costs are approved and allocated, and timing plans are established and communicated to all relevant stakeholders
  • To attend meetings and receive and communicate accurate and timeous updates of information to stakeholders, including brief updates and status
  • To open the job-bags and complete all relevant information required including job number, brief, print/media/creative spec and deadlines
  • Ensure that merchandise supplies product and briefs for the campaign, style sheets and supporting documents on time
  • Create material briefs on Chase based on campaign briefs by the planner
  • Brief procurement to obtain quotes
  • Delivery of campaign marketing collateral to the customer to meet company’s mail and call strategy schedule

Traffic

  • Brief and manage the creative process effectively and efficiently to ensure delivery of optimum creative outputs. Traffic the job bags through the system ensuring that all changes are captured on Chase, attached to the relevant material bags, communicated to creative and signed off by all relevant parties

Campaign Coordinator 

  • To efficiently manage relationships, liaise with internal and external stakeholders on the progress of work and ensure projects/campaigns are done according to our specifications
  • To manage the creative work-flow and sign off the process to deadlines, ensuring time allocation in the studio and sign off efficiencies
  • Ensure all proofs and any other relevant samples are submitted timeously and correctly into production
  • Communicate with planner and procurement if the material does not conform to the standard or the company’s requirements

Procurement

  • Obtain quotes and ensure all costs are signed off prior to the commencement of work

Qualifications and Accreditations

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Administrative and/or secretarial qualification would be an advantage

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years’ working in traffic/account management
  • Experience in an agency environment dealing with various marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Chase would be an advantage
  • Excel proficient would be an advantage
